"I had a water leak on the second floor of my home which flooded about half the house. My dealings with My Flooring America were Excellent from start to finish. Chip Reeder came out and provided my insurance with a very detailed estimate of damages which really helped to settle with the insurance company quickly and easily. My wife and I visited My Flooring America in Sugar Land where the very knowledgeable Edward educated us about carpet, grades, materials, costs, etc. We were able to choose from an extensive selection. Chip facilitated that purchase and helped arrange for installation. The carpet arrived very quickly. Javier and his team removed the old carpet, moved big pieces of furniture as needed, and installed my entire house with new carpet and pad in one day and were meticulous in their work and workmanship. "Great customer service throughout the sales and install processes. I worked with the Sugar Land showroom sales consultant, and I made him aware of my budget for the project early on. From there, he never tried to get pushy with my numbers and guided based on his knowledge of the products and what we were interested in installing. Installers are contractors, so there may be a mixed bag depending on who you get. However, our installers were great, and they were responsive to our requests. The one surprise was the amount of "float" the installers had to use. The person on the sales floor mentioned a potential extra cost if the floors were uneven but only mentioned it being about another extra 50-100 bucks. However, the overall price increase was closer to $500, quite a difference. But I'm used to home projects going over budget with any contractor, so I built this into our price tolerance. At the end of the day, my wife loves the new floors and they were very reasonably priced and RESPONSIVE to my needs/requests. Before approving the float, the regional manager came out and inspected to verify that we needed the requested amount, and he also checked the quality of the product while on site. Very thorough and he came out same-day."
