"Went to check out this nature center for it's trails. There's ponds that you can fish in and great source of small scale wildlife."

"So many opportunities for bird watching, other wildlife sightings, fishing, trail walking and exploring nature! It doesn't feel like you're in the middle of a neighborhood at all. I love this place. Do be careful of snakes and poison ivy and wear insect repellent."

"Great for natural trails, good amount of wild life for viewing. If your looking for a nice shaded peaceful walk, this is your spot. Make sure to bring the right shoes, for most of the trails are not paved and puddles of mud produce in many of the trails. this is not your typical walk around at a sidewalk park, expect nature to be a key element in your experience here!"

"The Colleyville Nature Center is an excellent place to bring the family. The playground and pavilion at the entrance of the nature center doesn't do it justice. Mill Pond has a small dock jutting into it where we saw at least ten turtles swimming in the water. We saw two ducks that promptly waddled into Herman's Pond next to Mill Pond. On the other side of the ponds was a pathway that led into a maze of pathways and bridges near Little Bear Creek. We found an open air pavillion with benches made from wood sitting atop rocks. There even was a man made bat house near the open air pavilion. When we followed the trails to the east we found another pond at the end. Next time we will go further along the trails to the east to find the other three ponds shown on Google Maps and then go west to see the five ponds shown on Google Maps. It was quite drizzly the day we went so we didn't need to imbibe in any of the water we brought but I would suggest to bring some any other day since we found no water sources anywhere in the nature center. Lastly, we saw there were public restrooms near the playground."
