Fort Wildflower - Playground

"Absolutely love this place. They have just about everything you could want for a park, playground, walking trail, small circuit workout area that’s safe for kids. Perfect for a picnic and safe. One entrance in and out so kiddos can’t wonder out."

"Great, free-access park! The playground is large and walled in, and the workout area is really nice. The splash pad looks like it could be good in the hotter months but seasonally closed when we visited. There are concrete paved trails and some stuff you can learn about local nature. If I had to find a fault, and this is a stretch, it would be that the statues on the walk path are a mix of life-size and not life-size, which can be confusing for a child."

"Loved everything about this park. The more we kept walking, the more there was to discover and learn! Perfect playground for toddlers with appropriate sized slides, bridges and tunnels. I have a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old and they both were able to enjoy themselves in there. Next to the toddler park is a playground for older kids but my toddler was still able to safety play over there. Super soft faux-like grass and everything is shaded with plenty of benches throughout the playground. There’s a cute little splash pad next to the playgrounds which was perfect because my baby was ready to cool down after running around. If you have a little one, like mine, who doesn’t like the water in their face, there’s a section that doesn’t shoot the water so high which she loved. We ended our time here by going on a small walk and to my surprise, there were little statutes of different animals along the way. We only walked for about 10 mins but there was plenty more trail to explore from what I could tell. There’s plenty of parking, gazebo for parties, a huge natural walking trail, pond with a fountain, sport fields, and even a workout park for adults. I highly recommend this park for people with kids of all ages! My daughter enjoyed every single thing here and met plenty of friends the whole time. Tons to do and see! We will be back again (even if it’s a 45 min drive for us)."

"Such a fun and well designed park. We have a toddler and 3 year old and were so happy with the tots section. The turf was great for the kids to play on and adapted seating on the swing set was great! Love the old west theme."

"Discovered this cute little part in flower mound today looking up for a place to kill time with my three little boys. This is excellent, the ground is beautiful the trees are gorgeous, the weather is perfect. And the playground is super super super fantastic. Highly recommend it."
