"I have been building metal buildings for over 20 years. Royal hands down has the best pricing and customer service around. Great people in the shop and great person behind the counter. With that being said they are what I consider a ma and pop operation. They are under staffed in office. You walk in mueller or metal mart down the road and they have no shortage counter help. I’ve been in there and the line is 5 deep and this poor girl behind the desk can’t keep up. She’s answering the phone (rang 5 times) and helping people in front her obviously overwhelmed but Upper management (owner) for the most part is always there to help her if he’s able to. There’s a guy that just sits in his office right behind the sales counter that obviously knows exactly what is job description is and won’t lift a finger but watch out if he does cause all he is capable of doing is giving you a price on exactly what you ask for and that’s it and not happily. I was behind two gentlemen a few weeks ago and as they approached him you could tell they were not sure what they wanted as far as a building so they were looking for some guidance. He without hesitation said i do not design buildings so I can’t help you. They were dumbfounded and left not knowing what to do. I wanted to stop them and redirect them to wait around for the girl cause she does go the extra mile and design/material list any building you ask her to. She obviously not a builder but obviously has done this awhile and has crafted her trade. I really hope she gets paid all the commission that comes thru that door cause she does 100% of the sales no doubt. Royal will be my only component provider in the area til I stop building."

"Rude lady up front. I can agree to that. She is not very informative. Speaks to you like your a dummy. So with that being said, if your new to the business of metal components. Do not expect her to help you figure anything out. I feel kinda bad for having to leave this review, but she doesn't seem to care about your feelings so oh well. This is a honest experience. "Called to ask if they had certain size metal pipes that I needed, they did and were friendly and helpful. Also emailed them to confirm order details, got a nice quote document, paid over the phone, and the order was ready for pickup soon after. I had read some reviews about bad customer service so I was worried about that, but my experience here was totally fine. Would buy from here again."

"I guess I need to be a regular in order to not feel like I’m wasting their time. Really blunt service at the counter. I immediately feel like I’m wasting their time simply by asking for pricing information. Poor customer service / attitude. Prices are comparable down the street with much friendlier service."
