Parker's Building Supply - Devine

"I’ve been going to this store for 16 years and I have even worked at a Parker’s in the past. I’ve never been treated with this amount of disrespect. Walked in the door didn’t get greeted, then picked up what I needed walked to the register, the cashier didn’t say a word to me, proceeded to ring everything up still didn’t say a word, then when it was done ringing up I asked him if he was gonna tell me a total so I could pay, and he still said nothing, then he came back with “I was waiting for it to process” when the total was already where I could see it, then I said “you didn’t say anything” and he responded with “I was still chewing” and then he asked me if I wanted a bag for the eight items I picked up and I responded with “wow no I’ll just carry them myself” and he just stood there so then I said I was being sarcasTic. I asked if he would carry all 8 by himself and he smarted off yes… so I grabbed them all and walked to where the manger was right next to him and asked if he was in charge and he said yes I am and I told him I can’t believe you let him talk to me that way! Then left!!"

The only reason we have continued to shop there for two years of living in Devine is because we did not know of many other places with the items we'd need. We now go down the street, drive to another town, or just order online if we need anything. We will NEVER shop at Parker's again. Rude. Unprofessional. We were disrespected due to our disability. Unacceptable!"

"The wonderful pleasant lady at register was very nice and helpful. But when I made I drove around back I was assisted by a handsome gentleman names Josh. Josh had an award winning smile, and was very knowledgeable in ensuring I got exactly the most for my money when estimating the length of 2 shelves I needed for shoes. I will return and continue doing business here at parkers because this experience was pleasant and convenient. Memorable"
