"Quaint store to get a snack. Best coffee between Sonora and Del Rio. Always fill-up with gas before leaving Del Rio or Sonora."

"Not much there, but when it's open, is a good place to stop, rest, and grab a snack."

"I've known Jim since I was a child. Hunting out there and having Thanksgiving dinners inside the store. Iconic store and I've always called it an Oasis. Cant wait to see you this deer season!"

"Do not depend on this as a gas station. I was almost out of fuel, gauge said 10 miles to empty, and I had driven to this store with 20 miles to empty since it was on my route to Devil's River State Natural Area. Needless to say, I puckered as I drove the 25 miles back in the direction I came from in the hopes that I could just get close enough to Del Rio to make it more convenient for roadside assistance to rescue me. By some miracle, my dually truck coasted the entire way back. She must have been on fumes the last few miles. It seems this is a common occurrence judging by the tow truck info and what appears to be a functioning pay phone."

"If I could give zero stars, or negative stars, I would. This was one of the worst business experience of my adult life. When I walked into the gas station I was greeted with, "What makes you think I'm open." For starters the door was open and the lights were on - though I did not reply. I asked if I could buy some gas. His reply stunned me, "What makes you think I have gas?" I replied this time, "Isn't this a gas station? The door was open. The lights are on." He refused to give me gas. He asked me to leave and told me where to go for gas. I'll never go back and would recommend that you don't either."
