Parker's Building Supply - Hondo

"Parker Lumber usually has what I need. Customer service is good as is the loading personnel in the back lumber yard. Only one complaint - they need to fix their parking lot in front of the store. It is an extreme hazard. There are four major potholes that are nearly 2 feet wide and 3-4” deep. I’ve gotten stuck before and had to literally floor my vehicle to get out of one. It’s hazardous because one day someone is going to get stuck and will back out too fast and slam into traffic passing by. The potholes have been there for sometime and they are ignored by management."

"They close at 5:15 even though their website states 5:30. I showed up at 5:12 but the lumber yard actually closes at 5:00. I wasted my time. I will never shop here again."

I offered to pay over the phone but was told they could not do that. But they would hold it for me. I sent a family member to pick the part up but they had sold it. The customer service has always been good. What happened? I'll be taking my business somewhere else."

"I brought in a roofing screw and said I wanted a box of em and the head for my drill to put them in with. He got them in a minute. Would of took me 30 minutes or more opening boxes and comparing. He seemed happy to do it. The guy outside was friendly saying he hadn't seen me for awhile. Very cheerful. Makes shopping there fun, not frustrating like the big box stores are."
