Within hours my truck was running perfectly. Dan has a great personality and is very understanding. Very reasonable prices too. I don't take my truck anywhere but Smitty's ! "Dan is awesome. He is one of the few honest mechanics I’ve ever met with excellent customer service. Took my car in the same day I called him and he had it ready the next day! The check engine light was flashing and my car was running terrible before I took it to Dan. He diagnosed the problem within a few hours of having the car and he even called me to come into the shop in person to see the problem for myself. Once I gave him the approval to fix the problem he had my car back to me the next day! If you live around The Colony, Frisco, Lewisville or Carrollton I definitely recommend taking your car/truck into Dan! Very great experience and I would certainly return to do business with him in the future."

"I searched for a couple months to get my car into some custom shops with no luck and less than exceptional service. I found Smitty's through Google and spoke with Dan the owner. Dan was able to get my 70 Chevelle into his shop the following day for brake repairs (new master cylinder, booster, etc.). I asked him to do a check on the rest of the car as it had not been to a mechanic for thorough review in some time. Dan spent a week carefully adjusting the carburetor, timing, electrical, etc. I can tell you the car has never run better!!! Dan is a master mechanic and has a true love for and knowledge of classic cars. I will not bring my car anywhere other then Dan as long as I am in Texas after the experience I had."
