"Casey is very kind and talented. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean! I felt lucky to have been referred to Casey, because he was very happy to do my tattoo considering that it was something that interests him. So we had very good conversation throughout the process which absolutely helped with the pain. We also talked about art that I may want in the future. Which he also showed interest in! The precision of this tattoo shows the true skill of this artist. It just kept looking better and better lol and I was so confident the whole time. This was a great experience. Looking forward to coming back!"

"I went to this place for a tragus piercing. The session went OK. By “OK”, I mean that the piercing was placed correctly and never developed an infection. But the woman who did it was rather rough with my ear in trying to secure/close the hoop. it took her over five minutes to get it, yanking the fresh piercing left and right. she didnt really apologize for my great discomfort either. It was also rather overpriced ($60) compared to other piercing places. but I wanted the piercing done ASAP so I didn’t bother to leave and shop around that day. The guy at the front desk wasn’t terribly friendly either. I just went to this place because it was close to my house. I won’t be back though."

"Royal Avenue is an exceptional shop in North Houston with great artists and a very laid back and comfortable atmosphere. I’ve got a full sleeve I started in 2019 and almost a second full sleeve (I’m working on it now) from Casey there, and I pretty much plan to only use him to tat me from now on. The shop is super clean and all the artists are very talented. There is a private piercing area with a very experienced female piercer. Even though I only use Casey, Russ and Hunter there both do great tattoo work too (their work can be seen on Instagram). I book by appointment, but they also take walk ins. If you’re looking for a great tattoo and piercing shop on the north side of Houston, or anywhere in Houston for that matter, Royal Avenue is definitely worth visiting."

Casey Hull was referred to me by my neighbor who has had several tattoos from different artists. My neighbor told me how impressed he was with Casey so I set up a consultation with him. He was very professional and started talking to me about my vision for my very first tattoo. He is absolutely a perfectionist. I was amazed by work he had done in the past and couldn't wait to get started. He knocked it out of the park!! The detail is amazing and I highly recommend him.
