Allegiance Tattoo

"Professionally Dru/Jason is a great artist and tattooist. It's gotten a bit pretentious over there in the past 8 years though. I was joking with him and he did not take it well. I also asked if I could see the drawing the day before not because I was apprehensive but to show it off to my wife who is always apprehensive. I certainly meant no harm. I suppose I crossed some line of etiquette that I was unaware of. I've been having work done with him for over 8 years so I wasn't planning on taking the picture to someone else if that was even the concern. I certainly didn't mean to hurt his feelings with a silly joke (probably in poor taste) but apparently I did. He fired me as a customer less than 24 hours before my session. I have always had great respect for Dru/Jason and his work. Now I still respect his work, at least. My tattoos are great, I love them and I love wearing them. I think this was a HUGE misunderstanding and I wish he would've handled it differently. The good news is that I've found another Japanese artist that has no openings until 2024. I'll wait, and I'll bet I'll give it a 5 star review and post epic pictures! I wish you well Dru/Jason even though I don't feel I deserved how you treated me at the end. It's a real shame."

They took great care of us and did a phenomenal job on the design and then the execution of the tattoo. They are friendly and do great work. I've seen them interacting with other customers who came into the shop or over the phone while there and they were respectful, guided their customers to making smart choices about their tattoos and listened to their wants/needs.
