I knew what I was looking for both times and called ahead to check their stock. Got there and was given plenty of time to try on and walk around. Prices are the same as Birkenstock website, so it’s better to shop local and go pick up same day!!"

"Called ahead to make sure they had what I was looking for. They did! Showed up about half an hour later, was greeted at the door and helped with what I needed immediately. The gentleman was extremely knowledgeable, knew EXACTLY what I needed and how to tweak the shoe to fit just right. I'm brand new to Birks so I am super grateful I bought these in person so I ended up with the right size. I am really pleased with my new work shoes and have a feeling I'll be back for more Birks in the near future. ☺️ Thank you very much for the great customer service, I sure do love to support local businesses vs Amazon! "The shoes that I got didn’t work for me - they’re recommended as the best comfortable, non-slip shoes by many people in the medical field, so it’s not a product problem - but the salespeople were beyond excellent. Measured me exactly, used European sizing which is more accurate, explained the pros and cons of the shoes. I felt that the manager (I think he was, anyway) was passionate about his product, but not trying to push for a sale just to make a sale. The return was equally friendly. Just brought receipt, box, and shoes. I explained why they didn’t work and the female employee kindly suggested several alternatives for orthopedics, (which I had also mentioned) and other non-slip shoes. No questioning about shoe condition or frustration with a returned product, she just genuinely commiserated with me about them not working. 10/10 service, would go again for non-work related shoes."
