"Good food. I had some questions about the names of the food because it doesn’t say what it is. The cashier didn’t know. However, I got Al Pastor street tacos and Caldo soup. All in all it was pretty delicious. Their rice is five stars! Make sure you get toppings at the salsa bar."
"I'm down from Utah visiting family. They said they hadn't found a good Mexican place yet, and I suggested Palenque from the online reviews. We had a great experience. I ordered 3 different plates--chicken fajitas, street tacos, and enchiladas. Everything tasted delicious. The beans that come with the street tacos are amazing. The meat is seasoned well. Food came out hot. Excellent salsa bar. I liked that it comes with a cabbage mix, cucumbers, cilantro, diced onion, and more. And serve yourself tortilla chips?!?! Awesome! The place was filled with Mexican people--always a good sign. This is their new favorite Mexican place, and I would come often if I were local."
"I was so excited to eat here after finding one in San Antonio. You can bet I WON’T be back. You want to charge me $3.19 for ONE taco and then can’t even fill it like a regular taco. These are the most pitiful tacos I have ever seen, especially for that price. And when I asked about them, they just looked at me like I was the dumbest person on earth and said yes."
"We love taco palenque! Especially the chocolate cake and the matamoros tacos! But now I'm disappointed. The meat in my tacos had a lot of fat and almost no cheese! On the other hand, I ordered the quesadilla for my son and it was burnt and also very greasy. The worst thing was that when I tried the chocolate cake, it was hard and dry (something that never happens) and when I checked the expiration date, it was an old cake. It's not fair that they sell something like this, I bought through the drive thru so I didn't pay much attention to the date when I checked my order. I hope you are more careful with that!"
"Their avocado sauce is amazing and I could have drank it. Our tacos were delicious…some of the best tortillas I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, fresh, fresh. I live in west Texas and we were in New Braunfels for an event. PLEASE consider teaming up with HEB and sell your sauces and salsas through their grocery chain."
