"The customer service was good at first. My brother and I are looking for a new barber place. We had high expectations from what we heard for people. They messed my hair up and same with my brother. I asked if they could fix my brothers hair and his stylist Ozzy gave us some attitude and still didn’t fix it right the second time we ask. My barber Brian was behind so many he skipped me when I had an appointment at 2:30… didn’t get seen till 3:20. He rushed my hair my line was all messed up in the back and ended up cutting me in a few places. When he was behind he asked his coworker Ozzy if he can cut my hair since he didn’t have anyone and rejected to do my hair because I asked him to fix my little brothers hair. They still charged me full price for the cut even though it was messed up and still asked for tip."
"There was nothing special here for the 40$ haircut. Mine was done in under 10 mins. Hardly used scissors. Felt like the person who gave me a cut was in hurry to go somewhere though clearly he dint care much."
"I went into 717 Barber Academy because I was preparing for doing my first ever back to school haircuts for my local church's single parents ministry (Gateway on Legacy). I needed advice to ensure I did a wonderful job on type 3 and 4 hair textures as my experience within that texture has been limited. Thier reputation in the community to serve is exceptional! Lou, an instructor, was so helpful! The students there were also clearly enjoying their education!"
"I took my little brother in for a haircut and Alexis did NOT disappoint. She did an amazing job, lined him up perfectly, and he was super happy with it. He wasn’t the most specific on what he wanted and he trusted her to do what she thought looked best and we don’t regret it. Also, great customer service. We love the front desk girl! Unlike other shops we didn’t feel ignored and rushed. Definitely will be coming back!"
"Went to 717 today to get my hair cut, this place is great it's big and spacious, and the team is very professional. Tony is my guy he always hooks me up and, I leave with a tight professional cut. Great location, easy to find, with plenty of parking."
