About the Business
Bridgeport Guns & Ammo is a family-owned and operated institution located at 1691 W U.S. 380 in Bridgeport, Texas. Established in 2001, we started in a small building in downtown Bridgeport and have since expanded to our current location on the outskirts of town. In addition to offering a wide selection of guns and ammunition, we also provide wild game processing services through Bridgeport Wild Game Processing, which was opened in 2007. Our team, led by Anita, processes deer, hogs, and exotics during hunting season, ensuring that each customer receives their harvest back.
In 2019, we expanded our services with the opening of Bridgeport Portable Buildings, where we offer Derksen and Eagle products to optimize our land. Our friendly dogs, Bang, Belle, and Bisley, welcome customers with wagging tails as they browse our store. We are grateful for our customers and appreciate their continued support. "I called ahead to make sure they had the specific pistol I was looking for, and was told they have it. The owner said they would hold it for me until my girl and I were able to drive to there location to pick it up. When we arrived, we were greeted with hospitality and the they presented me with the pistol I called about. It was exactly what I was looking for, and the transaction was as smooth as could be. I'm in the military, and I needed a small compact concealed pistol due to the area I was going to. The husband is retired law enforcement, so him and I started talking and I discussed with him that I was looking for a specific holster that I used in Afghanistan. He was sold out of the specific holster I was looking for. But because he owns the same pistol and had the holster I was looking for, he stopped and looked at me and said, "I don't normally do this," then he took off his holster and gave it to me and told me to be safe where I was going. I want to thank you sir, for your extreme act of kindness and helping me to obtain everything I needed in one stop. I wish I could give you and your wife more than five stars but the least I can do is leave you a wonderful review about how well I was treated while at your business.
