"It’s really uncomfortable for me to have to write this because she was really nice to me. I thought I could go on and wait for my hair to grow back but I am traumatized and don’t know how else to approach this problem. after the touch-up, most of the the highlights she gave me broke off. I have so much breakage in my hair …to the point I have to use wax to keep the hair from sticking up. Never have I ever walked out of a hair salon with my hair burnt off like this. She probably left the bleach on too long and it all broke off when she removed the foil. I wish she was more attentive and more aware to avoid this mess."

"My damaged hair was not an easy case for just any hairdresser for the color was uneven after many bleaching sessions and box dye. If your hope for a new hair color is drying like a fried hair because of the unmet desire from past experience with coloring, then let Tina be your last hope. She will restore and revive your hope just like she has restored and revived my hair. If you truly care about the results, I would say that this is a safe place to go. She is a lovely lady but she will be real for YOUR best. Therefore, the quality of her decision is consistent regardless of the increment in the expense that you may tempt her. She will listen to your concerns and be honest when it comes to what is achievable and what is risky for your hair. She is accurate about the forthcoming result based on the current integrity of your hair. In addition, she will inform you about the after-care ( do’s and don’ts ) if she knows that you are interested in maintenance. Her patience throughout the process will reassure your confidence in the arrival of your new transformation. Her ethical attitude and dedicating passion will reflect on your hair once her work is complete. The salon is clean. The value of her service is reasonable for what it’s worth, no more and no less. Tina has managed to exceed my expectation, I am in love and super excited with my new image for the summer! Hence, I will be coming back for more service from her as long as she is still in practice. "Very bad experience with this salon! This was my first visit here. I showed Min the reference photo I attached below of how I wanted my hair to look. My hair was actually longer than in that photo when I arrived. I requested baby highlights & lowlights. We went over the color & she began. I noticed after about the 4th foil that she only had a highlight bowl. I then asked why she wasn't adding the lowlights. She stated she would add them at the end. What??? Should have been the first very big red flag I guess. She then said I will color all of the hair that is not highlighted with the lowlights...um no! That is not a lowlight...that is coloring my whole head. I fully explained that I want baby highlights & baby lowlights so that it will blend naturally. She says she understands. She used cheap self torn foils that were clearly not meant for hair, when she went to rinse out the color she was ripping the hair out of my head with these painful foils! She then proceeded to dry my hair. I ask her at that point "are you trimming my hair dry?" To which she replied do you want layers. I then say "well, I have textured long layers, do they look like they should be trimmed too?" She then puts the dryer down like she was annoyed & began cutting. She asked me how much I wanted it trimmed. I replied no more than an inch. The pictures I posted speak for themselves. I left with over 4 inches cut off the back 6 inches gone from the front all chopped up and uneven. Rather than textured layers, a hack job of choppy blunt layers & the bottom edges thinned looking terrible. My lowlights are chunky & not even. I called to request a refund & was asked to come back in for Tina to try and "fix" the bad haircut. Unfortunately you cannot fix that much lost hair! She tried to even it out but I am devastated. To top it off I took my son for his haircut yesterday & his hairdresser sat me in her chair to show me how terribly uneven the cut still was & tried to even it out for me for free. Tina offered for me to come back for a free haircut in the future, but honestly I wouldn't recommend anyone get service at this salon. To add insult to injury, she charged me $250 for this terrible service but thought she was giving me a great deal with a 20% discount from online. I have never paid over $180 for cut & color in Cypress. They should have done the right thing and refunded me for their damage to my hair. It will take me years to get that much hair back as I have autoimmune disease and my hair does not grow well. This salon should be very embarrassed for this poor quality service!"

"Tina and her husband Mac are kind and extremely accommodating! Their salon is beautiful and clean. All the girls that work there are friendly and professional. They have only been in the neighborhood for just over a month, so they still have plenty of walk-in and same day appointments available! Their expertise is in color, but Tina's hair cut was also perfectly artistic. The appointment took several hours, but this was due to the sheer number of foils applied to my hair, which most of you will know - can be skimped on at other salons to save on time and product. I will say Tina does not have a "light touch" but I don't particularly care about that, I care about the end result. But for those of you with an overly sensitive scalp, I would consider trying a different stylist. The cut and color was perfect and suits me expertly. I am excited to make Tina my permanent stylist. My cut, full highlight, blow dry and style was $180 which is more affordable than my last salon. Additionally, men's cuts are $15! So my fiancé will be going there later this week."
