"Stopped by Locust the other day looking for a reprieve from heavy cocktails. Been here plenty of times before with no issue. But this time will be the last time I go. Immediately after walking in, the bartender told us they were closing soon. It was maybe 9:20ish. She let us try a couple things but based on her body language, it was clear to me she was not happy that we came in to the bar. Like we just ruined her chance to close up early or something. When I asked about the reserve ciders, she explained to me well, but it was a bit unsettling how unenthusiastic and indifferent she was. The vibe was totally off. We tried to go sit outside to escape this soul-sucking vacuum of a cidery, but the bartender chased after us saying she already closed down the outdoor seating and we will have to drink indoors. I’m not sure how you close a picnic table but whatever. Sitting inside, the bartender gave us the side eye the entire time and I really felt uncomfortable there. Need I say we were the only ones there too? I even bought a smaller pour just so I could get in and out of this place faster, which is a shame because I actually enjoy Locust ciders. I like chill bars but feeling like the rude bartender could hear everything we were saying was not great either. Disappointing experience as I really enjoyed coming to Locust. Be better."

"Had the spiced rum draft. So delicious! Went on a Tuesday night with a friend and we had the whole place to ourselves. They had a wide assortment of games to play, so we will be going back to try more ciders and different games. Only thing is that the beer was $10 which seems super steep to me, but I just moved back from living abroad and everything is crazy expensive now anyway :("

"Surprising find recommended in a recent book purchase of what to do in Fort Worth. Healthy list of different ciders. Of note from some standard offerings - try the Chai! We were on a low level pub and dining crawl “around” downtown. We only had cider here but there is food available across the street to bring in. If you like a taste adventure this should be on your stop list. We had several breweries and cocktail speakeasies on the list. Great find."

"I love Locust. The flavors are always exciting, the bartender is always friendly, and it’s just a nice place to pass time on a hot day. I recommend getting a flight to figure out what you feel like sipping on."
