"The tamales had too much masa and too little filling. I ordered 4 dozen tamales for my mother's birthday party - brisket/cheese, chicken/cheese, black bean/cheese, spinach/cheese and they all tasted the same, like masa. The green salsa was tasty."

"I NEEDED to find a place that sold authentic Mexican handmade tamales in SW Houston. I didn't want to drive all the way up north to Alamo Tamales. So I did a Google search and found an article by KHOU Channel 11. I am jumping for joy -- in my imagination, of course, because I can't afford to injure myself so close to Christmas. Anyway, these tamales are DELICIOUS! I got the green sauce but the pork is already savory. I also bought a bottle of Mexican Coke because it goes well with tamales. I couldn't wait to get home to start eating. Christmas in Texas means tamales. Y'all go to Momma's and support this wonderful local small business!"

"Wasn’t expecting much so that was perfect. I wanted tamales for the holidays so my friend suggested this place since he works close by. I went there to have a tasting only and ended up buying 4 dz. I would wish that the chicken was more substantial but overall, delicious. I wanted to try the Spinach and Cheese but friends devoured it before I could get to it. Will update after my order is completed Friday."

"It was my first time going there, the tamales were really good, reasonably priced and a good size. Ordering online was super easy which was nice. My only issue was they totally got my order wrong, I ordered 4 different flavors of tamales, but they only gave me 2 of the flavors I ordered. They're both really good but I'll be sure to check my order before I leave next time."

"This was my first visit. I ordered a mixed dozen of pork & chicken and 1/2 dozen of spinach tamales. These are hands down some of the best tamales I’ve ever had. I couldn’t make it home, we started eating them while still in the parking lot. The green salsa is amazing as well. The customer service experience was very pleasant. I enjoyed everything and can’t wait to go back!"
