"So dry. I can't produce enough saliva to push the meat down. Very disappointed. Overrated. They must have spent all their effort on marketing. Not the food. The cucumber side is good. Stay away from ALL the meat. So overpriced for the below average quality. Wont come again."

"Hands down the BEST BRISKET IN HOUSTON!!! Blood Brothers is already famous for their fusion of flavors and their unique takes on classics but their brisket was an amazing surprise. I enjoyed the ribs, the burnt ends but the brisket did the near impossible; standing out. I also recommend the corn and cucumber salad as great sides."

"Really nice little place. The barbecue smells so freaking delicious. We had a long line, but it did move quickly. Tried their brisket cheeseburger and it was the best cheeseburger I've had in my life! They also had some interesting flavors on their fountain drink machine. I got the black cherry soda and it was great. I can't wait to go back and try their peanut butter ribs. They had a lot of stuff we wanted to try. Inside is nice with lots of seating as well. Also everything was priced reasonably."

"This is my first time and my husband's second time visiting Blood Bros. BBQ, and we had a very satisfying experience. Owned by Vietnamese, you can see a lot of Asian decor inside this typical Texas BBQ store. You must try their special pork ribs. Every day they have a different menu. My husband tried their Korean spicy sauce (gochujang) pork ribs the first time. This time, they had guava-glazed pork ribs, and I really appreciated the fresh sweetness on top of the pork ribs. Their burnt end pork butt with pineapple is also really good—both sweet and not greasy. Lastly, as an Asian, I have to give a big applause to the BBQ fried rice! Loved it!"

"Arrived 30 minutes early expecting a line since this is on the Texas Monthly Top 50. We did go on a Sunday but 15 would be plenty. Line grew after opening. Sides were ok, disappointed in the brisket fried rice. Expected more brisket. But we are not here for the sides. The brisket was good with plenty of juice, the pork ribs were excellent with good bark on the outside. Sausage was average with the pepper versiin having more flavor. The chicken and turkey stole the show here. The turkey was juicy, which is really hard to do, with excellent flavor from the rub. The chicken was smoked perfectly with outstanding flavor from the meat and skin. Service was quick and the bar was full of good craft beers on draft as well as liquor! Definitely make a visit when you are in town!"
