"I was in the mood for some Vietnamese cuisine. I actually enjoy the flavors and how the food makes me feel happy afterwards. This place was convienently close, and I got a nice rice noodle bowl with steak and veggie and a drink. It was not gourmet, but it came with a drink and egg roll so I was happy. They had a choice of interesting juices and sodas, I had an adventure that will keep me coming back to try more dishes on the menu. The place was small but I've been here twice and I am satisfied with the food."
"I ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls, spring rolls, and Vietnam salad w/shrimp. (I was hungry, don't judge ☺️) The food was AMAZING. Delicious. It answered all my cravings. The atmosphere is a nice & pleasant vibe. I strongly recommend this restaurant."
"ETA: after reading through other reviewers it seems like the protein portion is one of the most common complaints, but anyone who leaves less than a 5-star honest review gets an incredibly snarky reply from the owner; one even stating "don't ever come back, since you obviously don't have good taste". That's wild to me, as any successful business owner knows that if the only less-than-stellar reviews you receive are of common theme, it usually is not a fluke. So yes, protein is always the most expensive ingredient to source for any restaurant, but that doesn't mean the reviewers are wrong and it certainly doesn't show any semblance of professionalism to reply in that way. I'd love for this concept to do well and to grow, as I genuinely think a Viet place like this is unique and a cool idea, but I think the blame being shifted onto displeased guests is the wrong direction to be looking for fault and will not help a business flourish in any way. There was no one else there when we went, so service was fast and very friendly. The food however, was very lacking. I took it home and cooked more shrimp to add to my salad since there were very few and it was primarily lettuce in a very small bowl. The spring rolls were also the tiniest spring rolls I've ever gotten from a Viet restaurant before, and again the protein was abysmal. The peanut sauce was pretty bland. It was quite a bummer since this place reminds me of a Viet version of a Chipotle (although in a Chipotle salad, it's about 50/50 on the protein to lettuce ratio), which is amazing as a concept since it's quick+easy+customizable but all in all you just do not get enough protein/food for the price you're paying, especially compared to other Viet places. They do have an option for extra protein, but with how little they give to begin with I don't think the additional $5 charge would add much."
"Absolutely amazing. The menu has so much customization that I order something new every time I come. The food is always fresh, hot, and tasty. The owner himself is worth visiting for. He has so much love and passion for what he does and he's always eager to make my experience flawless. Please keep up the good work!"
"First time today and I was hoping it would be what I was hoping for since it’s so close to my office. I only ordered the pork Banh Mi and it is not a traditional tasting one. The bread was not the best quality as it crumbled apart in my hand and lacked flavor. The pork was not marinated with the typical lemon grass, fish sauce taste. The portions as far as carrots and cilantro, etc. was skimpy at best. I will drive farther in town to Chinatown for a real Banh Mi next time. Nice guy working the register though! He was prompt to greet and very friendly."
