1st Choice Collision - Alvin

"This is not a top notch place. They do not take pride in doing a great job. I should have left when they wouldn’t order my parts before I left the vehicle with them. They said something like they didn’t trust that I would bring my vehicle back and didn’t have the money or trust to front the cost of the parts. It was not an expensive job. I let them do the job anyway and after they ran me back and forth to their shop a few times before I got my vehicle back. They did an ok job but not back to factory standards. The bumper is completely orange peal bumpy and they didn’t bother to wash it the vehicle, at least not properly. I paid for the “detail” that came with it but my vehicle was covered in dirt, mud, and what appears to be rubbing compound. It looks like they sprayed it down and hit some of it with dirty water and a sponge. No pride in their work. It’s done, it’s my beater, so I don’t care. If its your car that you take pride in, go somewhere professional where pride is taken in the work that is done."

"This business is shady, they did more damage to my car than when I brought it in. The car was drivable when I dropped it off, they cut unnecessary holes in the car to where it was unsafe to drive. Money hungry the car ended up being totaled because their quote to fix it kept going up. They also miraculously "lost" the initial $4500 check that the insurance sent them, even though I called them to confirm that they got it after it was sent. Don't bring your car here if you want it back in one piece."

"I've had 2 vehicles at this shop and they were AMAZING! They repaired my son's Malibu and it rides better now than before. They kept us updated on the progress of the repairs.When my other sons car was hit we elected to go back to 1st Choice and even though the car was totaled they handled the situation well. The young lady even went and pulled my son's remaining belongings out of the car before the tow truck took it away. Wish I could give more stars.."

"They did an excellent job on my truck that was damaged from an auto accident. The body work and paint job you can’t even tell you had damage at all. I would highly recommend them."

"This was our 1st time using 1st Choice. They are a preferred shop for the insurance company covering our accident. Overall, they did a great job! Our car looks great! My only complaint is that no one ever physical called me with any updates. I did get automated updates.. the investigation is complete, your completion date is… , your car is ready. I actually had to ask to speak to someone when I picked up to ask what exactly was done b/c I was never told. But she did come out & explain everything. I would still use them again though."
