Heritage Dental - Katy

"BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!! My experiences with them have been nothing short of terrible. My last appointment (in January) was scheduled for 10:30AM. I arrived early (9:45) & wasn't seen until almost 11:25AM. STRIKE 1... The people at the front desk are rude & nonchalant. The only people who were nice were the hygienist & the dentist. Even though I feel like he was only nice so he could find any & everything wrong for me to have to pay for. His assistant was overwhelmingly pushy about getting additional services done that I could not & would not pay for initially. I was extremely uncomfortable at this point & was almost about to walk out because he keep asking about a "budget" he could "accommodate" for me that had to be over $30! What a scam! STRIKE 2... I still ended up paying my deductible just for the deep cleaning at the grace of my hygienist. She was the only person who seemed to have any compassion! Fast fwd to today, now March.. One of their rude medical assistants working the front called about an appointment for next month. She was very rude & continuously cut me off throughout the conversation & eventually I just hung up on her after a while. Her customer service skills are HORRIBLE!! I feel like these people are only nice & accommodating to people of lighter complexions from every background & I refuse to spend anymore of my time or money with inane, inconsiderate, rude money-hungry & overall nonchalant group of "professionals" who could benefit from a course on how to treat people. Or again, maybe it's just me or people who look like me that get this treatment. STRIKE 3! I AM DONE!!"

"My first visit to Heritage was very an easy and smooth process . Everyone that serviced me or that I came in contact was very friendly and informative about my dental needs. The only think I’m a bit conflicted and troubled about is the fact that I did not have the choice to choose how I would like to allocate my dental allowance, it was kind of chosen for me by the finance guy. I was given a dental plan and the dentist made it clear that the deep cleaning was the first step and priority to do, however due to the way my benefit allowance was allocated, I was expected to come out of pocket hundreds of dollars for my deep cleaning when I could have just used part of my allowance since that was the first priority and then deal with the remainder down the line when needed. I also did not receive the basic cleaning I originally booked for either because apparently “it would be a waste of time” since I needed the deep cleaning as well. Other than that, Heritage Dental staff is wonderful and I would recommend them as a place to go for anyone else with great dental benefits."

"I am so glad I chose this dentist! The office is so bright and welcoming and clean. The staff are all really nice. Scheduling is easy and they’re great at working with my schedule. I get the same hygienist every time so that definitely makes the appointments more comfortable. Overall it’s the best dentist office I’ve been to!"

Everyone is also great at keeping me informed with what’s going on whether that be regarding my mouth, insurance, or at home care. I highly recommend."
