"I had originally given them a five star review. After an arduous experience I must recant. I trusted Dr. Mackey. I liked his observations and advice. I took them seriously and considered having my upper teeth fixed. I grind my teeth, so he told me I needed six crowns. Of course that was expensive. Out of reach at the time. After a year I had a new in network insurance and he had an intern. I thought it was time to fix my teeth. We talked before and he gave me a discounted price because his intern was going to practice on me. He was going to oversee everything. Upon signing, he and my husband agreed to an amount without submission to insurance. I was not happy, but I didn’t want to argue with my husband. A few weeks into the treatment and my service was submitted to my insurance. I was livid. I found out once submitted to the insurance that the “special price” he quoted was similar to the price I would have received if it had been originally submitted to insurance. I felt robbed because he could had been the one doing the work for the same price or I could have obtain a better discount. I tried to speak to him, but he was never available. I had to wait to be seen only on Fridays if any issue arose because his intern only worked on Fridays. He didn’t see me any more. I felt robbed and mistreated. Needless to say, I went to another dentist. Do not accept not submitting to insurance if it’s within network. Even if the insurance doesn’t pay, they have an agreed price and it makes more manageable. My teeth are not perfect, I have one of my front teeth wider and longer than the other. Disappointed."

"Absolutely love Dr. Kurt Mackie and his entire office. That is saying a lot considering it is a dental office and I am a big baby when it comes to dental work, but they totally understand and never makes me feel that way. All are very nice and inviting. To say that any one going to Dr. Mackie's office will be well taken care of is putting it mildly as they go above and beyond. Dr. Mackie treats each patient with care and expertise...including how one's teeth affects other parts of the body...and takes that into consideration in his treatment. When one goes to Dr. Mackie they are in good hands 100% and beyond."
