"If you have amalgam (silver) fillings, don't let a dentist who doesn't use proper procedures for dealing with mercury mess with your teeth at all! Instead, go to someone who knows what they are doing and get them removed! Dr. Attar, at Pride Dental, takes every precaution to remove amalgam fillings safely. This is so important, in order to avoid mercury toxicity following the procedure! He and his staff are knowledgeable, kind, gentle and patient. I was very nervous when I arrived at the office for my amalgam removal. They were able to help me feel comfortable, and I went home confident that everything was done in the safest way possible. Two years prior to this, I let a different dentist remove all amalgam filling without really knowing much about it. They did not take the precautions, or recommend the detox protocol, that they use at Pride Dental. I ended up with a terrible headache, body aches, and chills following the procedure.
