"Horrible experience. . . . First appointment scheduled at 3:30 for emergency tooth pain. Finally taken back for x-rays and exam around 4:30. After exam it is 5:00 so they don’t have time to extract the tooth. Call the next morning at 9:15 to get in for the extraction and told they have a 10:00 am and 1:00 pm appointment available. I take the 10:00 am and arrive around 9:50. At 10:15 I ask if it would be much longer as I’m in pain and still have to get back to work. The front desk ladies tell me that “well we are just working you in and have a few more people in front of you.” Why wasn’t that explained on the phone? I never would have made a10:00 am appointment and left work for be seen eventually. . . . Dentist and dental assistant were nice but stop making appointments if you are going to be running so far behind. . . Now I’m out half a day of work and still have to find a dentist to extract my tooth."

"My mom just went and they took advantage of her. Senior abuse in my opinion. They sold her a $199 package that included 2 cleanings because they wouldn’t just sell her 1 cleaning with x-rays. After she paid, they told her they couldn’t do a cleaning because 2 of her back teeth needed a deep cleaning. So she paid and they didn’t do anything other than tell her that she needs 2 crowns that would cost her over $3000. Also, the place is really dirty. They do not deserve your business."

"Had an oral surgery at Ideal Dental in Keller and it was fantastic! Despite being really anxious the day before, due to a past bad experience, the team there was amazing. They made the process fast and I already felt better the next day. Highly recommend them for their excellent care and service!"

"I went to this location a couple of weeks ago for a routine cleaning and exam (only my second time with Ideal Dental). At the end of my appointment, the dentist told me that I would need eight fillings and it would cost me $760. I found this odd because, not only have I never needed a filling before, the dentist did not show me any X-Rays or images of my teeth to identify problem areas. This lack of communication by my dentist and the fact that I was quickly shuffled away without a thorough explanation of the necessity of the procedure made me uncomfortable. Trusting my gut, and knowing that I have never had a single cavity nor have I ever been told that I needed fillings, I went to another dentist to get a second opinion. That dentist did a thorough exam and assured me that I needed ZERO fillings, certainly not the EIGHT that my dentist at Ideal prescribed. Ultimately, I understand that different dentists operate under different philosophies. Perhaps the dentist at Ideal felt that preemptive fillings were appropriate even though there were no problems. However, it was the complete lack of communication regarding the necessity of these fillings had turned me away from this practice. If you walk into Ideal and they prescribe treatment that is out of the ordinary for you and your dental history, PLEASE get a second opinion."
