"I might not have called this business, if I had read the other reviews. However, I did call them and they repaired my diesel 3/4 ton truck (i put gas in the tank...sickening experience when you realize what you did) on a Sunday afternoon. I had an idea on the cost per online search...a little lower cost estimate than others and no upcharge for immediate and weekend work. Great service, great price. I have high confidence in their abilities! Very friendly and competent. I will call again for future needs."
"mounting plate for steering control was bent had safe-t-plus twisted had lost fluid called this STR to come and fix ,they came took off control unit said would order new safe t plus and straighten bent plate when they came back, would need 864.30 now for labor and parts.when they came back said they could not take plate off that bolts were rusted they put the unit back on the bent plate , put bolts on wrong on steering rod.would not have been able to drive ,then had to pay another $235. He said the other charge was only for taking it off. I am 85 years old . I went to lowes and bought a 18 inch breaker over and 1 1/8 socket got under my motor home and took off the nuts he said would not come ,took off the plate and straightend it out with a 3 pound hammer , replaced everything as it was supposed to be. I would not recommend this place to work on a tonka toy."
