"Had car towed to shop since it stopped on road for no apparent reason. Tow truck driver suggested looking into the possibility of the fuel filter needing to be replaced. My charges were $40.00 for filter install (supplied my own new filter). Charged $50.00 for engine scan. After 3 days at shop discovered that the rear fuel safety shutoff on Ford had somehow triggered. Charged an additional $90.00 to press the reset botton and their additional thinking time. Bill for the fuel filter install now cost me $180.00. A few years back I would have recommended the shop. Not anymore due to new gouging phylosophy."
