"I set up an appointment online stating that I think I needed new struts for my car. I went in and my car was immediately looked at. After about 30 mins, I was told that indeed I would need new struts for the front. I was told the price would be $1400 and I told them I would have to do that at a later date. I was then told I just had to pay for the diagnostic they ran on my car, which was fine until I was told that it would be $113 !!! 113 for 30 min of "labor" that I could do at auto zone for free! That is ridiculous price to be blindsided with. I was never told that's how much it would be up front because I would have NEVER agreed to that, just to be told everything was fine with the car except the struts- which is what I had already told them in the first place. I will never ever use Wood's again Edit: I took my car to another repair shop saying I needed new struts and they quoted me $650.. When I took it in, the mechanic came out after about 15 minutes and said that honestly my struts were fine (woods said I needed new struts for $1400!)..I asked the mechanic what was making the rattling noise and he said it was a loose brake assembly which he fixed FOR FREE! woods tried to charge me for something I did not even need.."

"For great auto work and outstanding customer service at a fair price, I highly recommend Wood's Auto Service! My car shredded a serpentine belt on I-55 outside of Sikeston last week, while I was traveling from New Orleans to Wisconsin - I had to pull over right then and there, and seek emergency help, I couldn't even limp it anywhere. Kasey on the phone and front desk, owner Rick and his team of mechanics all helped me find a tow truck (thanks to Bill with Todd's Towing!) and fit me into their schedule same-day. The other shop I called wasn't going to get me in for FOUR DAYS! Miraculously, Wood's also found parts locally for my older (2009), European sedan. While they worked on my car they made me, my husband AND my dog at home in their waiting room. I was back on the road before the shop closed for the day, with new friends and a great story to tell for it. I finished the rest of my trip with confidence that my car was in great shape. Thanks to the entire team at Wood's Auto Service for taking great care of me!"

"Took my truck there for brake lines leaking. Charged me 1200 for new brake lines on 03 chev truck. However I drove it home and the next time I drove it, no brakes! Took it back to woods said the $1200 only was for front brake lines this was back brake line and this 1 line was another $900!! So $2000 and still would have to do other back side eventually. After much argueing because initially I paid for all only to find out half job was done, I took it somewhere else and paid $60. Oh and they charged me another $120 to diagnose it again. Um should have been found and fix during first diagnosis. Overcharging is not ok. And luckily no life was lost as parking break had to be used to stop my truck due to their incompetence."

"Woods auto service went out of their way to assist my girlfriend with some expensive auto repairs which we could not afford but had to have done. Our bill for the repairs would have been over nine hundred dollars but with the lady who works at the desk pulling for us we ended up paying around 120 for for full payment. Her car has ran great with absolutely no problems. Thank you so much and I would recommend you all to anyone who ask."
