"If you're looking for a baby in a man's body to poorly paint your vehicle. This is the place for you. Took my car in for repairs and 3 days later I was called saying it was ready for pick up. Paint was 2 different colors and not blended properly. He disagreed but also said it was the materials fault. Materials that he ordered. Took it back a second time. Called me 2 days later saying its done. Still the same thing. This time he blamed the insurance saying they wouldn't pay for extra blending work. That was not true, insurance said they never received a supplement for payment. I called the insurance infront of the " owners" staff and let him know all they were waiting for was an email stating they needed additional work done to complete the blending of the paint job. He had his secretary call saying insurance declined the supplement for additional work. Which was not true because insurance said he never reached out. I wouldn't trust Covington with a coloring book. Poor workmanship and customer service for sure. I would travel to amarillo or lubbock if you need anything better than mediocre done. Owner told me he could not do a good job because insurance wouldn't pay. I feel it was just due to incompetence. He just couldn't do a good job. Never seen a company be open for the better half of 20 years and only have 3 years experience."

"Do not take your vehicle to them they will do more damages than what it came with. The do bad work and the paint service bad too. I do not recommend them. Go to lubbock tx for any repairs. They will get in your face and cuss at you. I had to call the police to get vehicle back."

"***WARNING*** STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! I have never dealt with a business that has this poor of workmanship and customer service. I took my vehicle to Covington body shop in Plainview, TX after having been rear ended. There was damage to the driver side rear bumper and taillight. To ensure that I was not pulled over while driving my vehicle before the repairs, I replaced all of the light bulbs and tapped the taillight using my own funds. After having dropped off my car at Covington and getting a rental vehicle, which the insurance company paid for, Covington began repair on my vehicle. After a few days they called to tell me that my vehicle was ready. I picked up the vehicle and also went back to get the old taillight which had the bulbs that I had paid for in it. The next afternoon upon looking at the repair I noticed that there was a distinct paint line in the left rear quarter panel where they had not even bothered to blend the clear coat into the rest of the body above it. There was also a small tear and a significant visual defect in the supposed new bumper they had installed. I took it back to them and they told me they would take care of the left rear quarter panel but that DEFECTS IN THE PARTS THEY ORDER WAS NORMAL. I then proceeded to get another rental vehicle which Covington made the insurance pay for again. After being told the repairs were complete, I once again went to get my vehicle. It is at that time that I noticed a significant difference in the colors of the bumper compared to the vehicle. The blending repair was also done with a paint color that did not match the vehicle. It was at this time that a family member also realized that the reverse light of the taillight they replaced was NOT WORKING! They told me they would take care of the mismatching of all the paint colors, the bumber defects, and the tail light. This is the point at which they gave me a beat up old dodge ram with a check engine light on and power steering problems drive and later told me that all the problems with the truck were normal. So a day later I went to get my vehicle again, upon getting there I noticed that there were already at least three paint chips in the brand new painted bumper, and that there was debris and dirt inside the taillight they had put on my vehicle. I brought this to their attention and Leon blamed the fact that my vehicle had previous damage in other locations of the car as to why they have a lack of quality in their workmanship. He told me that the taillight was used because the insurance forced them to use used parts and told me that they let me vehi le leave their shop the first time with a non work g reverse light because I had went back to get the light bulbs I had paid for before I ever took my car to them...to be continued..."
