"Update: Feb 7 12:30pm, went to the shelbyville road location. I was looking at the dips & found 3 containers of the black bean dip covered in mold, brought it up to the gray haired lady with a pony tail and pink shirt at the counter. She didn't say anything, no thank you, no offering of a free donut or something out of appreciation. This could have made A Lot of people sick. The dates said 2/20 so someone isn't sanitizing the prep area, maybe didn't clean well, or the food was bad, maybe dates need to be changed to EXP within 7 days. Someone needs to go through the fridge items daily to check items are good. Not to mention if inspection saw this, that A would have been dropped to an F. Also I noticed on the small cheese torte there's red onions in my dip, but onions aren't listed on the ingredients. I'd update that ingredient list to reflect the actual ingredients used. I brought it to their attention when asked if onions are used to make it, but they didn't seem to care. . . . I got 2 boxes of the petit fours from Kroger for my birthday. They were Not Dipped in Fondant icing like they have been in the past. They just had the icing on top, nothing on the sides... I was really disappointed. At the bakery, they had them dipped on display. Seems like someone isn't dipping them in fondant icing for the Kroger stores."

"From ordering my son's 16th birthday cake to pick up, every person I interacted with at Heitzman's was professional, friendly and more than helpful! The cake was beautiful, delicious and more than we could eat! Truly a great experience, highly recommend!"

"We had a party of 7 at 10:15 am on Saturday, 12/31/22. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. I got the Egg and Cheese Sandwich ($4.50) on an everything bagel. The bagel was great, but there wasn’t enough egg or cheese. I also got a side of Hashbrowns ($2.50). The hashbrowns were definitely not worth it. Everyone agreed that the bagels were really good. Others got lox spread and said it was good too! We got 4 different donuts ($11.40) and mostly were unimpressed. We got chocolate covered glaze, cake donut, Oreo, and custard-filled. The best was probably the Oreo, but really, none of them blew us away. I checked in on Yelp and we got a free cookie out from checking in! We tried the chocolate chip cookie and the sugar cookie, and again, both were just okay. We had high hopes and we’re unfortunately let down. Everything was average at best."

"We brought our children to Heitzman's today for donuts and ended getting a wide assortment of donuts, cinnamon rolls, sweet bread, danishes, and pretzels. Everything was delicious. The staff were super patient with our large family as we deliberated and asked questions and the price was really reasonable for what we got. I can't yet speak to the quality of sandwiches, but they looked fantastic and my wife and I are already planning a chance to go back for lunch sometime. They have a nice open dining area as well if you wished to eat there. Overall, highly recommend!"
