"From the front of the building to the seats and everything in between, this place is amazing. It has the absolute best bourbon selection anywhere, and the food is phenomenal ! We celebrated my wife’s birthday there and the Manager Chris brought over some Champagne and checked on us throughout the night. The staff were excellent! They were very knowledgeable and friendly. One of the best experiences we have had at a restaurant in a very long time!"
"Loved our experience at Watch Hill Proper! They have the biggest inventory of American Whiskey in the world with bottles ranging from $- $$$$. Don’t go there and expect to buy a beer or any clear spirits! The atmosphere and decor are cozy yet elegant. Very elevated kind of place. Only went there for drinks and dessert, will be back to try more in the future!"
"The food was amazing, The service didn't match the menu. The cocktails were not great nor good. The manager came by but it felt only that he needed to make an appearance and not try to remedy any bad experiences."
"Requires reservation and deposit. An extensive collection of bourbon from floor to ceiling. Cool atmosphere with bourbon barrels hanging from the ceiling. Food and cocktails were amazing. We enjoyed the lobster hush puppies and our entrees. Best pork I've ever had. Friendly and fast service with time to linger. The GM came around to every table introducing himself and offered suggestions off the bourbon menu. Will be returning the next time we're in Louisville."
