"I’d come back all the way from North Carolina to have this again. The coleslaw is on another level. For an impressive flavor contrast take a big lump of coleslaw, put it on the fried chicken, and take a bite. Gizzards were perfectly tender and the best I've had from a place. Usually I don't like them that much but these were great."

"I think this place has gone downhill severely in the last few years. (Along with many others in this area). I’m so disappointed in the way a lot of the local business owners allow their staff to act. I was friendly and nice to the person who took my order, yet they were dry and clipped with me. Then when I paid and received my order that employee was so depressing. Downcast eyes, no greetings, zero friendliness of any kind, and as I looked over her shoulder, it seriously looked like everyone there would rather be at a funeral than where they are. I get it, times are hard, but when you work in customer service, I certainly level of friendliness and courtesy is warranted. What a disappointment."

"Spectacular little chicken joint. Hands down the best fried gizzard I've ever had. Barely any bite to them as opposed to the crispy fried bubblegum you get most places. The steak biscuit and 3 piece were great as well! Had the Mac and cheese, broccoli and cheese, and turnip greens and all were above average. Staff is friendly and the place isn't super modern but very clean. The prices are almost jaw-dropping in this day and age. Dad and I had lunch for under $20, as opposed to almost $20 each like normal. If you're in Sikeston and in the mood for chicken this place beats out the best of them. 11/10 MUST TRY"
