"Last night at Giau in Katy Asiatown was a straight-up good time. No fancy words needed, just honest-to-goodness delicious food and friendly vibes. The Thai Hot Pot hit the spot. Rich broth, perfectly cooked veggies, and enough seafood to satisfy our late night appetite. The Crispy Intestine was a revelation – crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. It was the kind of dish you eat with a satisfied smile thinking, "Wow, that's actually good." (Specially with the house vinegar..trust me). And then there was the Balut - that extra special Filipino delicacy ! Unexpected, yes, but surprisingly perfect. You know how sometimes you're hesitant about trying something that you are not really sure if it is as good as back home, but then it blows your mind? That was GiAu's Balut - a real appreciation of its unique texture and taste. The service at Giau was just as good as the food. Friendly, attentive, and never pushy. They answered all our questions about the menu, even the ones about the more adventurous dishes. It was the kind of service that makes you feel welcome and comfortable, like you're hanging out with friends rather than just eating at a restaurant. So, yeah, Giau in Katy Asiatown? Definitely recommend. Good food, good vibes, and good service. What more could you ask for?"

"Some high highs and some low lows. Our server was kind, but he had a really hard time being attentive to our table. There was another table with legit 20+ people, so we had to exercise our patience as he was spread thin. After waiting for over an hour to get our food, it arrived, and it was all delicious. Drinks were good too. The beef skewers were the highlight food wise. Just kinda a narrow beer selection and a few things in disrepair. Both of these could be fixed and make for a great experience. I’d give it another try."

"Highly recommended!!! This place makes their cocktails like a work of art. Every cocktail was specially crafted and James adds his signature at the end of most cocktails by heating the lemon, wringing it and rubbing it on the rim of the glass. Cocktails were simply delicious and the food was delicious. Even though they have a really good bar to hang out, this place is also great for family as the food here is really good and portion is generous too. Service was amazing. All the staff were very friendly here. My only problem with this place is why didn’t we discover this place sooner!!"
