"The store was clean and well stocked. I'm working in Kentucky, so I'm not a state native. Based on that, I found it interesting how locals would gather in groups of 6,7 or 8 people and completely block the isles with themselves and their carts while they socialized and caught up on each other's lives. I saw this numerous times throughout the store. Is this just me, or is it a Kentucky thing? Nice people, but it seemed kind of indifferent to other shoppers."
"Scan and go has changed shopping for me. I absolutely love the way Sam’s Club scan and go works. Walmart is a close second, but I can get in and out of Sam’s Club so quickly now. My wife and I also ate lunch today at the club. I ordered ahead, and have to say the customer service experience at that portion is almost always bad. Today was no exception. As I walked up and told the young man my order number, he looks at me, then at his monitor and walks away without a word. He eventually brought all of the order and hands it to me. I cheerily say “thanks, have a good day,” and don’t even get a response to that. I don’t think it’s too much to ask that a person providing a customer service can at least say “you too” when someone says have a good day. Maybe I’m expecting too much."
"I like Sam's Club vs Costco. Less crowded with a nice selection of food clothing and a variety of other items. I have asked questions of people that work here and found them helpful."
"This can be busy but it is still a good experience when I go here. Prices have gotten really high but it's still pretty competitive. I wish they had more frozen selections but overall I enjoy coming here. They were having a lot of issues up front with the soda machines but it seems to have been fixed. The front end also has trouble with lines because they don't keep enough people up front to check receipts."
