"The only thing lacking at this place is the size of it, and I only mention that because they had live music the night we went (2/17/24), and it was a little loud for the space. The singer was great though and a lot of fun. The bartender (Andre, I believe was his name) was attentive, and the pizza and cheese bread delicious! Highly recommend! Affordable prices as well. Note: the price per person I listed is because we had a couple mixed drinks with dinner."
"What a cool little lace to visit. Went firstly because of the food rating and the pizza was awesome, but the atmosphere of the patrons was worth the visit. Came in as an outsider but didn't leave that way. I had conversations with just about everyone in the place. Awesome. Definitely will revisit next time I'm in Madison"
"Set in historic Madison, the Drake has fantastic thin crust pizza with a thick bed of ingredients and excellently pairable beers, including locally brewed. A social crowd sets the background laughing soundtrack with fairly loud music overlaid. A step up and some narrow seating area make it not ideal for strollers or wheelchairs."
"Don't know how to describe this but a pub on a side street where we were treated wonderfully by the female cook/bartender. The buffalo wings were fantastic and the thin crusted pizza was very good!"
"I got a personal pizza for lunch this past week, and had to go back for more today. When I got home, my wife's first response was "Oh WOW" at the amount of toppings on this supreme pizza. Great crust, just the right thickness, not too much and super delicious. Also, some of the best servers you'll ever have! They've quickly earned my ranking as the BEST PIZZA IN MADISON."
