Oak Texas Bar & Grill - Southtown is a popular institution located at 2011 South 10th Street in McAllen, Texas. This bar and restaurant was established in 2016 with Texans in mind, offering a unique dining experience with Texas made products. In 2020, a second location was opened in North McAllen, and despite the challenges of a global pandemic, the institution adapted and innovated to serve the community proudly. The launch of South Texas Brunch further solidified their reputation in the RGV, leading to plans for expansion in Weslaco and South McAllen. Soon, Oak Texas Bar & Grill will offer a private room for gatherings and special occasions at their South 10th and Weslaco locations. "The Oak at South Town never lets me down! I love all the Oak locations, but this is my favorite, since it's closest to me. The food is fantastic and has great prices and daily specials. From the addictive wings to the sinful fried Oreo dessert, everything on the menu is AWESOME. Service was spot-on, I told our server we were in a rush to get to the airport. She was quick to let the cook know, all of the food came out quickly without compromising on quality or service. The outdoor area was clean and cozy, perfect for soaking up some sunshine while enjoying our meal, or smoke break for those who smoke. In short, whether you're in a rush or looking to unwind, The Oak at South Town is fantastic. It's my go-to spot, and I'm never disappointed."

"I love oaks bar and grill and come here at least 2-3 times a week but the north McAllen area will always be my favorite in terms of food, service and cleanliness. The south 10th street oaks always smells horrible. Like wet dog. Service is okay. Food is good but they do not offer the same as the other oaks which is a bit disappointing."

"Stopped in for lunch with co-workers. Had a great experience. All of our food was excellent. Also had margaritas, cucumber refresher and "Bless Your Heart." We now know why they fan favorites. Will be coming back. Definitely recommend!"
