"For winter golf, these guys do a good job. The selective overseeding seemed strategic and well thought out. Greens were consistent and very playable. Staff is friendly and seem genuinely interested in making sure you have a good experience. Watch for snakes in the boardwalk/marshy areas. Saw a fat cottonmouth a while back."

"I'm not sure why there's so many bad reviews for this place! This course is legit and in pretty good shape! They even have a drive through food truck on hole 9 when you're making the turn! I will definitely be coming back to play here again!"

"Played here in late September and the course was in terrible condition. Large cracks in the ground & poor green conditions. The sand traps more resembled concrete bunkers. Worst course condition of the 3 courses I played in the area on my trip down. Definitely not worth the price paid. Note to Owner: The fact that I said Shadow Glen was the worst course conditions of the 3 courses I played in the area means that all the courses I played had the same weather conditions in Texas, however, they managed to keep their course in playable conditions where Shadow Glen failed miserably. Your snarky reply shows that you don't care about the course or your customers either. Hopefully someone will buy it, fire all of you and put a competent management team in place."

"Very disappointed with my experience here. Course is poorly maintained. Weeds everywhere. Range was closed because they “ran out of balls.” Half of the fairways resembled the surface of the moon. Taco stand was not being manned because employee was hanging out inside. Bar wasn’t been staffed so couldn’t get ice. Cart was delivered soaking wet. Cooler on cart was missing. I was advised to pick up my own balls on the range…..for a hundred dollar round yikes!"

"I love golf. I love golf courses. I love good golf courses. This course needs a major overhaul. Take a look at my pictures. This golf course needs a major influx of money to get it up to par. It’s not an expensive course, but it is certainly one that needs an investment. Take a look at the pictures for yourself and you will see. If you leave five stars or if you leave one start you out at least show the pictures to verify I wanted you to see these pictures so that you know this course is only worth about half of what their regular fee is 50% discount to play this course. It is not worth a nickel more."
