"Cozy hole in the wall place. Limited variety of beers. But the ones we tried were excellent. I got the 210 and Tannline. Bring your own food. Staff is friendly and attentive."

"Always a great time at Busted Sandal. Moses and Hector are awesome! I really like the Crimson Red Ale and the Mexican Lager. $3.75 pints on Wednesdays and they let you bring outside food."

"Cozy little brewery with a broad selection of styles and everything we tried was well above average. Lots of seating, knowledgeable staff patient and willing to explain things. If you're not sure what sort of craft beer you like we heard the bartender help several people decide comparing Busted Sandal brews to similar mainstream styles. There is no food on site but you're welcome to bring food in if you like. They serve flights with 4, 5, or 9 different selections. They have a limited selection of their beers available in 6 packs for consumption off-site, and they also sell refillable growlers and crowlers or you can bring in your own and they'll fill them up for you."

"Busted Sandal is one of the many breweries in San Antonio that has its place as a solid neighborhood lounge, but not as a destination brewey. There are a beer or two that are good such as the porter, but you won't find anything drawing you back. The venue itself is spacious and perfect to hang out with friends. Keep in mind that this is a hard place to find because it's not well marked when you first visit. It's the building in the middle of the shopping strip."

"When we first arrived, there was a bit of a wait due to the bartender getting backed up with orders, but when we ordered all of our drinks they came out fast and at the same time. We got one order of the girl scout cookie flight, which came with each cookie for a pairing. Those flavors are usually hard to hit, but for the most part the flavors/pairings went well together. Decent space, with board games that you are able to play at your table while you enjoy your food or drinks. The other beers on tap were good as well. I would give them a 4 out of 5 stars as well. They had some complex flavors and typical styles for a craft brewery. They put their out take on them and made the flavor notes stand out."
