"Walked in to buy a bottle of water to escape from the heat and to take my medicine. The casher informs me smugly that she does not take hundred dollar bills because she will be left with no change because her manager does not leave her change. I informed her that all I have is cash and that I would love to purchase water because I am thirsty and want to take my medicine. She say no I can't. I tell her that they should put up a sign stating they don't take a cash. She goes "we do take just not hundred and fifty dollar bills", I'm like well y'all should put up that sign then. Wasted my time, energy and efforts on some lazy worker and manager that won't supply her workers with enough change."
"It's usually pretty good customer service. But if the truck comes early, they'll they block the entrance way before 10 PM. Allowing them to lock the doors and even if you were rushing to get there before 10pm they wont let you and move out of the way on purpose so you cant see them. Its happened on several occasions. Just frustrated they dont stay open until 10pm."
"Return policy; they don't stand by it. Family dollar return policy states; If you are not completely satisfied with any merchandise purchased at a Family Dollar Store, please return the merchandise to any Family Dollar Store within 30 days of purchase. With original receipt, items will be exchanged for other merchandise item(s) or a refund will be issued in the original form of payment. I tried returning and they said that because I used coupons they won't give me a refund. Mind you, I used the digital coupons from their own app."
