"If you’re looking for a real slice of Texas honky tonk, here it is. We visited on a weekday evening after a trail ride in the hill lands and I’m so glad we did. The bar, ambience, players and staff were 10/10 as true as it gets. If you’re visiting Bandera, it’s a must-do."

"As a kid, I grew up here. It remember sleeping at the fire mantel and on my parents laps as my family had the time of their life. As an adult, me and my friends couldn’t wait to be here on weekend nights. We still visit and Arkey and his family are just like they’ve always been; great."

"It's our 1st time here. We heard music from the street level, so we decided to walk in. It's definitely a good place to have an iced cold bottle of beer...and I mean...ICE COLD! CASH ONLY! The ambiance is fun. The place is quaint with a lot of character. The bartender was friendly and even chit chatted with us for a bit. They had Sunday jazz/blues live music. People danced on sawdust floor. The music was GREAT! Come check them out for yourself!!"
