"Food is usually really good. Service is horrible to non existent. Last time I was there it took them 20 minutes to bring out our sweet tea and water and it wasn’t even busy. Also the taco meat was really under cooked. We have always love this place but are really hesitant to go back now. Hopefully it was just an off day for the cooks. But the service always sucks. They need to hire people that love their job but in today’s age those are hard to find."

"Summary: Good mexican food and good service in Bandera. The corn tortillas are very good here and we always get those over the flour here at this restaurant (not usually at other restaurants). Breakfast: We like the pork chops and eggs… Steak was a little too much gristle. Ranchera salsa is good too. Latest visit in Summer 2023 and noticed they’ve been updating the place inside. It’s so cute with wooden interior walls inside! Definitely fits in with the Bandera vibe."
