"My husband arrived in Dumas around 4:30 PM, on business, and found his eye to have suffered a scary looking, probable blood vessel hemorrhage . I called, both local optometrists, after seeing a photo of his eye, begging for him to be seen and was flatly refused despite our willingness to pay cash for whatever fee was assessed. He was told to go to the local clinic where he would be seen by a medical doctor or PA , not an optometrist or ophthalmologist. I’m astounded at the lack of compassion and sorry for the locals needing eye care. I expected more from fellow Texans."
