Julia Kwon started her teriyaki business in Seattle, WA in 2002 and has since expanded to multiple successful locations. In 2016, she decided to bring her culinary skills to DFW and founded Miako Teriyaki. With the opening of 206 Luster Grill, Julia continues to share her passion for cooking with the community.

"Excellent food, Spectacular Service, and relaxing Ambiance! Great location off of Josey and Windhaven! Plenty of parking, and welcoming atmosphere! It’s fast casual, with a huge menu that’s split by apps, entrees, combos, sushi, sides, and drinks! It’s a bit overwhelming but the server was extremely friendly and helpful! I went with the most popular item: Combo of Teriyaki Chicken and Chicken Katsu (fried chicken), steamed rice and salad! The portion was large- easily shareable if you’re not super hungry ;-) The grilled chicken teriyaki was perfect!! It a slight crunch and a sweet flavor. And the Katsu was super delicious, crunchy, and perfectly cut into bit sized pieces! The salad was also tasty and provided a good balance to the meal! Overall I loved the food and I will be back to try their other items!"
"I ordered a few signature rolls and my husband had the chicken yakisoba. The staff were very friendly and offered their recommendations as this was our first time here. Our food was very delicious. I haven’t had good sushi in a while since I gave birth a few months ago. I would definitely come back here again."

"Local family owned business with the best teriyaki! The recipes are family recipes and very high quality. I love the chicken katsu. Very generous portions, great atmosphere and very clean restaurant! I always have a great experience every time I come. Julia and Yong (the owners) are such nice people running a fantastic restaurant. Their business is a wonderful addition to the area. 10/10 recommend!"
"The best teriyaki I've had in decades. I've ordered from here five times now and each time, the chicken is perfectly grilled and the sauces (both regular and the spicy) are excellent. The customer service is top notch and the prices and the portion size are very reasonable."
