"This is my favorite place to get a beer and bite to eat when I want to just relax on beautiful day out or need a timeout lol. I love a good grilled cheese and tomato soup but they also have a tasty little smash burger with fries($5) on Wednesdays. The food has always been good and they have decent lunch specials. They do specials throughout the week and post from their facebook page. With their selection of tasty beers you will always find something you like(Tuesdays is half price beer). I’m a beer person but they also make yummy drinks. They can be busy at random times but sometimes it is real chill. The bartenders are great. Just like every place when they’re short staffed it may take a while but they’re always attentive. I love this place."

"The food was good pretty consistent with my previous experiences. However, the service was pretty bad. We sat for a long time without drinks and felt like an inconvenience for our server. When we finally got the Bartenders attention who got our server's attention to get our checks, he had an attitude about getting our splitting our order (everyone paid for themselves on a party of 4), what we ordered, and getting us our checks. Truly shocked. Hope it was just a bad day for someone and not a new trend in attitude."

"We came in this morning right at open for Galentine’s day brunch. We were so excited for the cute Valentine’s Day specials. The raspberry sorbet champagne float was so cute and tasty. Unfortunately what wasn’t cute was our waitresses demeanor. She was obviously not happy about serving my group, which was simply myself, my 4 year old, and another adult female. Our waitress was so flat when speaking to us, one word answers. Brought waters for the table, a covered lid for my kiddo, no straw for him. Accidents happen especially at the beginning of the shift, so I asked for straws. Either she didn’t hear me or she ignored me. We had to ask again later and ask for enough silverware for everyone at the table. She seemed annoyed that I asked what drink specials they had, tapped a QR code on the table HARD and said scan it the walked off. Rude. So rude. If you know the drink menu give me a run down, and refer to the QR for the food menu. It took forever for her to come back. I asked if I could get a single pancake for my kiddo, it’s not about the cost it’s about how much he’ll eat and not wanting to waste food. She turned around and walked off. We watched her go to the bar so I’m assuming she was asking someone. She comes back and advised it’s only an order of two. I asked could we just add an extra pancake on the special order, she said no so flatly. Fine, the problem isn’t they only come in an order of 2, the problem was her demeanor. She came back to check on us but again her demeanor is flat. We were there an hour, not a single time did she smile or interact positively with us. Waiting on our table seemed like a chore for her. Mind you, I’ve been in to the Bearded Lady 5-6 times since last year. Every other time service was great. This waitresses vibe did not pass the check. As far as the food, the Red Velvet pancakes were a little over cooked (almost burnt) but overall were tasty enough. Eggs were eggs, hard to mess up. My friend loved her burrito and tots. Visually it all looked great. Maybe next time we just stick to take out of this is the new level of service provided. As far as cost, it’s wild to me that subbing bacon for eggs is an up charge when Bacon is more expensive to purchase than eggs. But it is what it is."

"I come here for “the big dill” burger, and when the weather is nice, the giant dog-friendly patio that greats you before you enter the restaurant. Brussels are on point, definitely a must try. Service is decent, but have had a couple times where we sat for a while without being greeted/serviced."

"This is a nice little spot in the near southside with a great patio area. We've been several times. The drinks are well made, and they have a pretty nice beer selection. The food has always been good. The only thing they could do better on is continued training of the staff. Some of them are good, some of them however you can tell have their mind elsewhere and in some cases don't know the menu. That's an easy fix with management though if they recognize it. Overall it's nothing that would prevent us from going back. Great spot."
