Jiffy Lube

"Poor customer service, I've used this location for the lifetime of 2 vehicles with virtually no issues. On this visit they used a new tool called an evacuator to remove the old oil and did not explain this process in advance. I had to ask what what happening. My vehicle takes 5.5qts of oil and after the evacuator only removed 2qts of oil I could hear the manager discussing this with the technician. They then added new oil without confirming that the oil was actually fully drained, Suddenly they say my vehicle was 2qts low. They did not mention this at all when they initially measured the oil level. I brought this up with Elias, the general manager, I explained that the oil was at the proper level on the dipstick when they began and If the evacuator only pulled 2qt of 5.5qts that would suggest that they left 3.5qts of old oil in the vehicle and that they added less new oil and charged me full price. In stead of admitting that they may have done the evacuator process poorly, Elias became defensive and He refused to discuss the mater, they then drained the oil traditionally from the oil pan and started over, Not very good customer service, managed poorly."

"Update to the update: my car smelled so bad and was smoking I took it to a mechanic. They said it’s fine but whoever did my oil change made a huge mess of it. They advised me to spray engine with a Degreaser as well as under carriage and power wash. They said oil was dripping all over and not from a leak, but from an horrendous oil change. Update: I originally gave this location 5 ⭐️ and a glowing review (below). So we went yesterday expecting the same. The gentlemen were friendly, however, oil was spilled all over the top where the oil fill is causing my car to stink and smoke. We had to clean it when we got home. They also never checked our filter… which we discovered today was in need of replacing. I know we all have off days, but this one has caused my car to smell (which was pulled into the cabin due to the filter as well as the spillage, making us sick). I’ve downgraded my rating. Not sure I want to risk my pennies there again. (Original post) Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and NOT pushy. They worked quick yet thorough. I will definitely return."
