"Got gas but had to try 3 pumps before I found one that worked. Went inside to use restroom and found it to be absolutely disgusting. Wish I peed outside instead."

"Easy in and out. Plenty of parking, even when busy. Prices for gas are competitive with others in the area. Agree with other posts- store interior is clean, but the men’s room needs cleaning."

"I was passing through Alpine and needed some fuel, the lowest price I could find was at the Stripes. As we were getting fuel, the gas pump was refusing to work the first few attempts as I tried to pay. While we were getting fuel, I decided to go in and get some snacks and refreshment. From the moment I walked in, there were two workers that were nonstop complaining about their job. (Usually a red flag) The place was a disaster. Everything looked as though it was incomplete. Half of the soda fountain drinks were out, I tried to get some IBC root beer from the tap and it was very diluted in soda water. After I gave up and looked for a drink I wanted in the fridge, but half of the items were not stocked. The bathrooms are an eldritch nightmare. It has clearly not been cleaned since the place opened. I guess someone decided that a "Wet Floor" cone would solve the issue. It's also worth mentioning that there was an oddball dude who was watching me the whole time. But I'm pretty sure that's cause I didn't look like I was from around here. I would be embarrassed to be the manager at this place. They clearly either don't care or don't know what they are doing. I think someone above him shound fix this dumpster fire. That way someone would be managing the place. All I wanted was a drink, snack, and fuel. Would wholely advise against going there. It was not a pleasure."

"Absolute disgusting store. I want to encourage management to make an attempt to visit and either shut it down or spend some money renovating. Where is the Alpine health inspector? At 0730 the eggs looked to be hours old, no condiments for the burritos. I asked why they don’t put any condiments out any longer and was told that since Covid, they have ordered it but it isn’t being sent. Funny how all the other stores, to include Marfa, have them out."
