J & J Kitchen Ramen Sushi

"First timer. Ordered pickup. When I got home food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the spicy salmon, goyza, and the Pork Ramen. I was so shocked that the Pork Ramen tasted just like the Ramen from back home in New York City! The broth alone was absolutely tasty! You will NOT be disappointed going here. The lady welcomed me with a great smile I felt very comfortable. I didn't feel like a number. I am super huge in customer service. She also gave me complimentary tea. That was so good as well. I will 100% be back!"

"I’m surprised most of the people have a good experience there. I’m not comfortable with their policy that they can only take 3 orders in a roll. They gave us a menu that someone wrote on it before and mistaken the orders with those previous cross marks. Instead of taking the right orders, they canceled our orders and delivered the wrong orders due to the 3-orders-every-round policy, which made it not so pleasant from the beginning. Later, they insist the 3 orders policy and let us order 1-2 dishes more as a courtesy. I don’t feel free to order whatever I want on the menu. There was only one chef, so we need to wait a while before another round arrived. Then they told us it would be the last round before the last order time supposed to be. We aren’t big eaters, but I feel like the owner was afraid to serve us the food we need. We did order dinner menu during the day, but still not impressed by the food. Maybe they were just opening and struggling with their finance, but I’m not going back for sure. The only plus is the server was nice. The food was not bad, but nothing impressed me. The nigiri tasted fishy, so I can’t even finish it in the end."

"Jasmine is one of the sweetest people I’ve met! Great music, quick, and everything was appealing to the eyes as well as the stomach. Was super good and filling! 10/10 recommend! Love trying new places and not disappointed one bit!! The shaggy down roll was amazing and the presentation was amazing. If you are looking for a new place to eat amazing food as much as you want come here!!"

"After reading the great reviews and high ratings, we had to stop by and try it for ourselves. Spoiler alert...we were not disappointed! First impression was that the restaurant was nice and clean, we were greeted by Jasmine (the owner) and seated in one of the booths, which was quite comfortable compared to the sinking in feeling of many other booths. She brought us complimentary garlic edamame which were delicious and still had a nice little crunch to them (not overcooked). We ordered the Tom Yum Chicken Paitan and the Miso Pork Paitan. Both were hearty and tasted very good, the broth had a nice flavor and the meats were tender. We also ordered the grilled beef over fried rice and I have to say that the fried rice is a must try, tasted very authentic and delicious. I would have preferred the meat in smaller portions so I could mix it in with the rice and of course Jasmine told us they could accommodate that next time. Finally, I ordered the Chicken Katsu bowl over fried rice a couple of days later to-go, mainly because I was craving the fried rice! The katsu had good flavor as well and paired nicely with a side of the pork broth. We're happy that we found a spot near our house that we enjoy, we will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu!"
