"This is a new review. I stopped in today because I needed to air up a couple of tires on my big rig. I pulled up to the fuel island where the air nozzles are and I got one and started to put air in the tire. At least that’s what I thought. It turns out it wasn’t working and after the first attempt when I checked the pressure in the tire I had lost 10 psi instead of it increasing. I checked another nozzle at another pump and that one wasn’t working either. They didn’t even bother to put a sign out saying that the air nozzles were not working. I went to the shop to see about getting those tires aired up over there, and they were not willing in anyway to help me out. Even though the situation at the fuel island was their fault because the air system wasn’t working. They had three trucks in their shop waiting for some type of service or repair. They told me my only option was to have them do a work order and for me to wait behind those three drivers and then they would charge me to air up those tires. They could’ve easily taken a hose out there with a chuck and allowed me to air those tires, but that was not gonna happen. Those mechanics weren’t even working on those three trucks. One guy was on break, another was painting a wall, and the guy I talked to was wandering around like he didn’t know where he was. I was going to talk to the manager but the young ladies behind the counter folding towels just told me that the manager would tell me the same thing. Fortunately, Flying J across the street had their air system working. Thanks for Flying J, I was able to get back on the road. No thanks to Loves. You lost a customer. I will never set foot in another Loves again. Rewards card in the garbage, app deleted from Phone. Ridiculous"

"I'm giving this loves 3 stars for the parking lot and good wifi. I took a shower today and was disturbed at how gross it was. The women's bathroom was dirty and smelled bad too."

"Looking through the negative reviews about some of these entitled children working the registers , I just had to share my particular experience. When buying cigarettes they will attempt to take your Driver’s License and scan the back of it. This should never be allowed. There is no law that says you must even show ID if you are over 30. This attempted scan is Love’s attempt to limit their liability as it is an affirmative defense if you participate in this scanning scheme. (After my refusal to allow her scan I presented my ID for her visual inspection and manual entry into her Point Of Sale.) I explained that there are many who don’t trust government to not create databases and collect data on its citizens. I asked if she could understand my concerns. She immediately pulled the racist card saying why wouldn’t she be able to understand that. Was I assuming that all Hispanics couldn’t understand? Why did we all assume that Mexicans speak Spanish? The conversation spiraled downhill from there. My own child is bilingual why wouldn’t she be? (Subsequent RF audio surveillance revealed that she does in fact speak Spanish) Employees shouldn’t take offense when someone stands up for their rights and refuses to comply with a nonexistent law. At worst I would be violating a Love’s policy. That being said you can always refuse the scan and force them to manually enter the data. Hope this entitled brat does not morph into a full grown Karen."

"I have been travelled a lot and have stopped at Love’s for gas and food. Overall we love loves since their stores and rest rooms are always very clean. This morning, I stopped at loves stop 447 at I-10 west exit 0 and bought one of my favorite snack which is large order of chicken gizzards, but as soon as I took over the box that handed to me, I felt the weight is not right since I have bought this item so many times at different loves stops. After I opened the box to look at the contents, the quantity of gizzards is even less the medium size order that I normally got. That meant the lady who filled this order did not give me enough gizzards for what I paid for. Besides the quantity issue, it seemed that there are some gizzards inside the box are leftovers and refried. So I am very disappointed by the this Chester’s restaurant inside this love stop and I hope that the Chester’s restaurant can do honest business, otherwise they don’t deserve to operate inside the Love’s gas station. The one star was given is because of the Chester’s restaurant!"

"Prices are not great, but they are well equipped! Lots of gas pumps, tire air for big rigs, WHEN they’re working, easy access, and an on site tire shop."
