"Sushiya is right in the heart of downtown Dallas, and a simple 15-minute walk from the KBH Convention Center. Cozy atmosphere with a bar area and a couple of TVs with sports playing. We went on a Saturday evening and there were plenty of tables around 6PM. Service was fast and friendly, and the food portioning was medium to generous with nicely decorated plates. Recommended if you're looking for a quick, quality sushi experience."

"Last Friday night turned into an unexpected event when my family and friends stumbled upon Sushya, a cozy little spot that's a slice of Japan right in our neighborhood. It's casual and unassuming, but don't let that fool you—the food here is nothing short of amazing. With its traditional Japanese dishes like teriyaki and udon and an incredible selection of sushi, it was exactly the kind of place we'd been hoping to find for a relaxed evening out. As soon as we walked in, the vibe of the place made us feel welcome. The staff greeted us with big smiles, making us all feel at ease, including my two boys, aged 9 and 5, who were immediately taken with the colorful sushi plates on the counter. They were especially excited to try the sushi and sashimi, and let me tell you, they weren't disappointed. The flavors were just right for their adventurous young palates, which is no small feat! The food presentation at Sushya deserves a special mention. Each plate was like a little work of art, making us almost hesitant to disturb the arrangement. But of course, the temptation was too great, and I'm glad to report that the taste lived up to the presentation. It's clear that there's a lot of care put into not just the cooking, but also how it's served, which made our dining experience even more special. The atmosphere of the place was just the cherry on top. It's warm and inviting, with just the right amount of buzz to keep it lively without being overwhelming. My boys felt right at home, and there were plenty of options to keep their picky appetites satisfied, making our dinner there a stress-free experience for everyone. In all, dining at Sushya was an absolute delight. It's not just the food that will bring us back, but the whole experience of feeling like you're dining with family. Whether you're a long-time lover of Japanese cuisine or introducing it to your kids for the first time, Sushya is the perfect spot. If you're looking for delicious food, a friendly environment, and a place that's as much a hit with the kids as it is with adults, then you've got to check out Sushya."

"This is not your cookie cutter sushi joint. Terry offers a top notch meal while maintaining the neighborhood feel of local casual dining. Sorry at the bar and ask for the special of the day, you will not be disappointed."

"Whole in the wall place but so worth it. I traded it out for some high end rooftop restaurant and so glad I did. Sushi was so fresh tasting. Shumai so moist and soft and flavorful. Husband loved his udon as well. They have alcohol and amazing food- everything you need for a good time"
