"Dropped my car off to get a quick oil change. I decided to shop around the store while they were working on my car. I get a call to my cell asking me "Please come back to the automotive center, it's about your car." I knew this couldn't be good. I was asked if I've ever had an issue starting my car before, which surprised me a bit because I have NEVER had an issue starting my car. Once I informed them that this hasn't been an issue they proceeded to tell me that after the oil change they were unable to start my car. I did a quick google search on what can cause this and informed them to check my findings. I was told that the power locks and windows work but my engine wouldn't turn over. After they check what I suggested they come back out and show me a battery meter telling me my battery is bad. They suggested I could purchase one. I told them no, to jump my car off and we will handle it ourselves. I called my husband which immediately told me not to leave the area. He hightailed it to the automotive department to have a word with them. I don't think they expected me to be able to call someone with working knowledge of cars, motors, and batteries. Once there, he was able to tell them what could cause this. They said that they would sell us a discounted battery, but that was all they would offer. He told them to drive the car out, since they had jumped the battery off and it was running, so he could inspect it in the parking lot. After a quick inspection he was able to determine that there was in fact nothing wrong with my battery other than it appeared someone drained it in an attempt to get us to purchase one. Jokes on them, they didn't account for me... what seemed like a single mom with two young children with her... to be able to call someone with more working knowledge about cars then them. I still paid full price for my oil change even though they tried to pull a fast one on me. I wouldn't recommend going to this automotive department for an oil change unless you have money to waste on an unnecessary battery replacement also!"

"Brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire balance and rotation. When I was approached by "Manny" I was asked "what do you want?" I explained what I needed and was told that my car only takes high mileage oil...which isn't true at all. I literally have less than 30,000 miles. Manny then told me to "go get your tire size", so I could get the cost of the tire rotation. RIDICULOUS! I asked to speak to the manager about his attitude, but she was on lunch. Manny's co-workers even addressed that his attitude is trash and they apologize on his behalf. Coincidence, there was a store manager/corporate walking around and was going to be having a meeting with all his department managers...this information was passed along...I really hope something is done. And this gets better, IF I ever decide to give them another chance."

"There aren't any experienced techs here. They only do oil changes and basic tire changes. I purchased tires online from walmart and they weren't able to install them like originally promised at check out. The reason the manager gave me was they were too low profile. I'm a master technician who started 16 years ago changing tires when I was 17. The real reason for not being able to change them was inexperience. I could have changed them myself if they let me use the tire machine but that is not allowed. I would not come here for any kind of service because they lack experience to even change a tire, imagine what they are doing to your vehicle when they do work. I imagine they over tighten oil drain plugs, damaging your car and making it so you will need a new oil pan later down the line, which is an expensive job. Do not take your car here if you care about it and want proper maintenance done. I dropped my car off at noon and decided to go check on it at 2pm and they already had given up on the wheels hours earlier but didn't have the decency to call me. I would give negative stars if I could."

"Good price on decent tires. However, they stripped 2 of my rear wheel lug studs and then forced 2 different lug nuts on with different size heads. They weren’t even going to tell me until I noticed it before I left. I asked the manager and he said it’s policy that they can’t put the old ones back on once they are stripped. I assumed they meant the head on the lug nut was stripped because it doesn’t make sense to just put different nuts on after they stripped the stud. But hey that’s Walmart logic for you."
