"This is a nice place to eat, drink, and hang out. Food was delicious. Only downside is when wait staff don't speak English and orders and/or special requests get lost in translation. Just that one thing can change an experience dramatically. Public service workers should be required to be able to communicate to ALL their customers no matter what the establishments' culture is derived from."

"The food is pretty good, but they will rip you off on drinks. Their $15 old fashioned had maybe an ounce of actual liquid (cheap bourbon too) most of their drinks are mostly ice. Picture is of my drink with the ice removed. The server didn’t care when I brought it up."

"A diamond in the rough. Superb kitchen in the making. Excellent sauces are the highlight of our first visit. Started with guacamole and chips. Very flavorful with bits of jalapeño and crunchy fresh onion. The chips are thicker, the real deal, and you can taste the corn. This is definitely authentic Mexican cuisine, not Tex-Mex. Wonderful mole enchiladas. Tell them to deliver the dish hot, not warm. Ask for extra mole on the side served piping hot. Very original, moist rice with veggies morsels mixed in. The habanero mango wings are big and juicy, but order with your drinks before the entrées. They take at least 10 minutes to make fresh. Our second dish was the blackened fish sandwich served on a bed of tangy cole slaw in a sesame-seed bun. Excellent flavors. Again, though, the chef needs his dishes delivered hot. Fries are coated, crunchy, and not greasy. Condiments are by request, and we had to ask for everything. Caddies at tables should be a staple, and when a customer asks for tea with lemon, bring it with more than a single slice. Also, turn down the thermostat 1-2 degrees. It is 100-plus outdoors, so 78 is too warm. We'll try them again in a few to see if they improve."

"I'm glad we stopped and tried this place. Service was great, food came out fast. I don't even care that the chips and salsa are $5. It tasted homemade and it was warm and delicious. The Mexican martini was good-just comes as one drink, not a shaker. We liked that we could just order 1 or 2 tacos and not commit to a whole plate. The ceviche was super delicious. Looks like a cool place to bring a bigger group, plenty of space and menu options for everyone."
